The Motion Picture Association of America claims that our petition against PROTECT IP, the bill that intends to blacklist certain websites, is invalid. They claim that the signatures used against the PROTECT IP ACT are fake. To validate their signatures more than 35,000 Demand Progress members emailed lawmakers asking them to reconsider their position on this horrible legislation. NOW itís your turn to reach out to your lawmakers and ask them to oppose PROTECT IP! This is different than signing a petition; it is voicing your concern directly.
